Last Friday, October 4, 2019, we celebrated the inauguration event of the expansion of the installations, which have increased from 2,000 sqm to 3,500 sqm, with the attendance of 200 guests.

These new installations are the key to face the new business challenges and to be able to continue being the leading company in the agitation and mixing market, a technological pioneer and with the vocation of offering the best service and attention to the customers, suppliers and the human team that forms VK.

The event was a huge success!!

The inauguration was hosted by the VK team, together with the management, Helena Rodriguez, Elisabet Rodriguez, Anna Torredeflot and Xavi Torredeflot, who worked together to make the event a success.

During the inauguration, the attendees, through a guided tour of the installations, were able to learn about the production process of a team from start to finish, explained in first person by the members of the different departments of VK.

The following personalities were among the guests:

Mr. Ramon Tremosa, Professor of Economics UB. Member of the European Parliament 2009-19. Coordinator of the Economics Committee of the Liberal Group 2017-19, remarked in his speech; “[…] at the microeconomic level I am very interested in knowing what is the key to the success of an SME like VAK KIMSA”, and specifying that “VAK KIMSA, between 2007 and 2018, has doubled the company’s turnover and the assets on its balance sheet. In these twelve years, VAK KIMSA has almost doubled the weight of its investment in R&D on its turnover, as well as doubling the number of workers and quadrupling its exports”.

The President of Cámara de Terrassa, Mr. Ramon Talamàs, says: “Enlarge is, a positive verb. […] This is the true engine of our economy and your company is a faithful example. Catalonia is strong and has potential thanks to realities like yours. Thank you for your contribution”.

The Councillors of Rubí City Council, the Councillor for Employability and Education, Mr. Víctor García stressed that: “[…] whenever the city has sought the complicity of its business fabric, it has found in Vak Kimsa an unconditional ally” and the Deputy Mayor and the Councillor for Public Works, Mr. Juan Lopez.

The Secretary General, Mr. David Garrofé, and the President of Cecot-Rubí, Mr. Manel Jiménez, attended on behalf of Cecot.
