The Board of Directors of the Center for Technological Development and Innovation, E.P.E (CDTI), at its meeting held on 12/20/2024, approved our participation in the research and development project called “DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW HIGHLY EFFICIENT AGITATOR FOR GAS DISPERSION IN LIQUID, SPECIALIZED IN THE HYDROGEN AND BIOTECHNOLOGY SECTOR”, through the granting of a partially refundable aid.
The main objective of the project is the development of a new hydrodynamically efficient industrial agitator design for gas dispersion processes in liquid, especially for hydrogenation processes, key in the manufacture of synthetic fuels derived from hydrogen, as well as in fermentation, in the biotechnology sector.
The project will be carried out at our Pilot Plant in the facilities of Vak Kimsa, S.A., in Rubí (Barcelona). The project execution period is from 2024 to 2026 and has a fundable budget of €781,536.
This project is co-financed by the European Union and CDTI.
