VK’s Product Engineering Department is designed to mechanically calculate and design mixing equipment in 2D and 3D, as well as to carry out vibration tests on agitators before shipment.

We have extensive knowledge in the use of simulation tools such as ANSYS, which complements our experience in mixing processes and our ability to carry out tests in the Test Center.

Vibration Testing
Vibration tests, developed as part of an R&D&I project, allow us to obtain the vibration signature, determine critical speeds and verify the correct operation of the agitator before shipment.
Having the agitator’s vibration signature before shipment allows us to offer our customers predictive maintenance, link to After-Sales Service, using sensor technology and to determine the condition of the agitator at all times, predicting possible failures over the years.
At VAK KIMSA, we monitor the vibrations of our agitators before shipment as part of our commitment to quality.
We do this in our 25 m³ tank to identify the vibration “signature” of each unit under normal operating conditions.
This information not only guarantees the initial reliability of the agitator, but is also key to applying preventive and predictive maintenance, avoiding unplanned downtime. A VK service available to our customers.
