Our facilities provide the necessary elements to allow our customers to replicate realistic production conditions and observe the behavior of the mixing process in real time.
PILOT PLANT
In our pilot plant, you can carry out experimental tests with your product or your customer’s product, either in person or via streaming. This provides first-hand knowledge of how the product behaves in our equipment and the advantages our equipment can offer.
These facilities allow VAK KIMSA to offer our customers our know-how, which translates into optimized products adapted to each customer’s specific needs.
For this purpose, VAK KIMSA has different agitation and in-line mixing equipment that enables the empirical validation of a wide range of processes and all types of products. We have 15 L, 50 L, 80 L and 150 L tanks, as well as in-line mixing equipment for batch production. These tests allow results to be extrapolated in order to guarantee effective and efficient industrial scale-up of the equipment.

MACHINERY RENTAL FOR TESTING
We have in-line mixer rental units available so that you can carry out tests at your plant under real working conditions.
These units include an electrical cabinet and are ready to be electrically connected and tested.
VISCOSITY STUDIES
The pilot plant is equipped with a viscometer and a data acquisition system that allow us to obtain product rheology and specific agitator operating parameters.
This makes it possible not only to analyze and optimize agitator behavior from a fluid-dynamic perspective, but also from a mechanical perspective, including stresses and sizing, as well as energy consumption.
Industrial-Scale
Platform
We have an industrial-scale platform with 1,500 L and 25,000 L tanks for carrying out pre-delivery quality tests on the agitators and in-line mixers manufactured, allowing them to be verified both at process level and mechanical level.
Likewise, our R&D department uses the industrial-scale platform for product development.
